rendez-vous amsterdam
Welcome to the Amsterdam’s experience page.
This is part of my Master of Architecture thesis on designing a place for sustainable health, located on the eastern docks along Piet Heinkade, Amsterdam. My preliminary research and recent visit suggest that the city of Amsterdam, with the world’s largest cultural heritage mix is currently undergoing exciting city planning and building development. I would imagine that there are many sizzling debates about people’s desires and wishes in the future direction of Amsterdam in this 21st century, and what it means locally and its place in the extended global scene.
By setting up this blog, I hope that questions and answers can be posted and shared. Your experiences and vision of tomorrow’s Amsterdam can be articulated and expressed directly from day to day living there; and perhaps, this can activate unrestrained dialogues among contributors, while adding to a framework otherwise another isolated piece of academic work, here in Canada.
I truly thank you for taking the time.

Please blog your thoughts about your city !!!! If you have any current photos of Amsterdam to share with me and others online, send them to me at > , I will post them together with your name.
In particular, I am interested in your views on fun public spaces. And what does health and sustainability mean to you as Amsterdam becomes a globalized city of this new century?
